The most ancient among the AYUSH systems, Siddha medicine originated in Tamil Nadu. It is based on the vast collection of palm leaf manuscripts possessed by Siddha families in various parts of the state.

Duration of BSMS: 4.5 years of academic education +1 year mandatory internship.

Eligibility for BSMS: 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology.
